The Power of a Single Blog Post

  • My Nashville-based mental health & addiction treatment center client expressed the desire to write more blog content focused on their porn addiction treatment services (which were virtually nonexistent on their website). Through content strategy discussions, we determined the importance of writing a blog post about porn addiction’s impact on the brain. Utilizing Semrush, I determined the target keywords for the blog post (largely based on search volume and keyword difficulty). I wrote the blog post, strategically placed keywords, and published the content on the client’s website via Wordpress in March 2024. 

    As of early July 2025, the blog post has remained one of the top-performing pages on the entire site (which includes over 600 pages). Its overall performance stats include:

Large-Scale Targeted Content Generation (From Scratch)

  • When I first started working with a Nashville-based mental health & addiction treatment center, there was very little online content representing their intimacy disorder treatment services (and their porn addiction treatment content was virtually nonexistent). I was tasked to prioritize intimacy disorders treatment content for their website. Collaborating with the client, we created an SEO-based content strategy, and I began to write or rewrite various intimacy disorder treatment services pages, blog posts, and landing pages (all based on targeted keyword research that I provided utilizing Semrush). I also learned on the fly how to use Wordpress, building and publishing many of the website pages myself.

    Nearly 50 content deliverables later, my copywriting led to the following results:

Lead Magnet landing page

  • My Nashville-based mental health & addiction treatment center client wanted to reach more patient leads in need of treatment for childhood trauma. In January 2025, I was tasked with creating a new landing page that would promote their free childhood trauma quiz, which would determine the presence of adverse childhood experiences (childhood trauma indicators) and generate new email leads.

    I performed keyword research on Semrush and determined the target keywords for the page, wrote the landing page copy, designed the layout of the page, and then built and published the page on Wordpress. Since writing and publishing the landing page, it’s become one of the top-performing pages on the treatment center website, according to Google Search Console.
